- The time limit for video presentation is 10 minutes (8 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for queries).
- Every video should begin with the title of the procedure, but there should be no mention either by displayed text or by voice-over of the institute or operating surgeons at any point in the video. This also prohibits the institute logo from being featured in the video to ensure anonymity for impartial judging.
- Every video submission should be accompanied with a text abstract of 300 words with the following sections: Background, Surgical steps/manoeuvres unique to this video, and Conclusion. There should be a title page in the text abstract with the following information: Title, Authors, and Institution.
- Submissions of video presentations that endorse commercial entities in character will not be accepted. It is also preferable to avoid discussion on branded instrumentation and restrict content mainly to surgical techniques.
- There should be no patient identifiers in the video whatsoever, including but not limited to any video footage of the patient’s facial features or patient identifiers on included imaging studies. In cases where footage of the patient’s face is inevitable, a scanned copy of a valid written consent for the same should be submitted with the abstract.
- All authors bear complete and exclusive responsibility regarding copyright issues of all submitted content.
- All submitted videos should represent the Author’s/Institute's own work.
- Videos may be accepted in the following formats: avi, mpg, mpeg, mov, wmv.
- Save your video presentation on a USB memory stick.
- It should be submitted at least 2 hours prior, at the designated station on the day of presentation.
