All e-Posters will be accessible on a PC with Windows 10 and PowerPoint. In order to ensure an optimal delivery of your poster presentation, please stick to the following guidelines for the preparation of your Oral Presentation:
PREPARATION:
- The time limit for paper presentation is 10 minutes (8 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for queries).
- Your paper presentation should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint (max 8 slides). As a general rule, it is better to use pptx format.
- Your paper presentation should be displayed in landscape orientation, 16/9 ratio.
- Use high-contrast lettering and readable fonts (minimum font size of 24).
- Use high-contrast colours (light text on dark background or vice versa).
- Use standard Windows Times New Roman fonts only.
- A maximum of 7 lines per slide and 5 words per line will improve the communication value of your slide.
- Save your paper presentation on a USB memory stick.
PICTURES AND GRAPHICS:
- Save the picture(s) you want to use as a JPG or PNG and set the compression/quality to medium or high.
- Avoid saving your pictures as TIF files (especially MAC poster presentations).
- Save the pictures, graphics, or spreadsheets (Excel) used in your poster presentation separately or on a USB memory stick.
- In a general manner, be careful to respect author’s rights and persons’ anonymity.
- It should be submitted at least 2 hours prior, at the designated station on the day of presentation.
